Foot shape and thong design

    Historically the difference in toe size is thought to be the reason why ancient sandal styles differ (to fit individual foot types). Apparently, although I have not see it for myself, ancient Egyptian statues clearly depict people with different toe lengths thought to celebrate the main civilisations that traded with the Egyptians.

    I suspect that there is little or no basis for this - nice though it may be. I will do some digging and see what is there. Rob
     
  3. "Thong design" doesn't necessarily translate too well... I suspect some have been living upside down for too long...
