Following retirement of the existing post-holder, we are seeking to recruit an experienced HCPC registered Podiatrist to join our MSK Team on a permanent, full time, basis at Nuffield Clinic. The candidate must have at least 5-years? postgraduate experience with demonstrable postgraduate M-level learning.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for a specialist level caseload managing adults and some children presenting with a defined range of complex musculoskeletal presentations affecting the lower limb. There is the expectation that the post-holder will provide clinical supervision/mentorship to other members of the team, with the support of the MSK Lead for Children and Young Persons.

The applicant must have a proven track record in the assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the lower limb. Evidence of postgraduate development relating to musculoskeletal podiatry and an awareness of paediatrics, sport & occupational activity, short and long term systemic conditions and rehabilitation relating to the foot and lower limb is essential.

As part of the role, the post-holder will undertake 3 clinical sessions per four-weeks within the Foot and Ankle ICATS team, which forms part of the Orthopaedic Pathway, working alongside an Extended Scope Physiotherapist. Previous experience of this type of working is highly desirable.

    Job Share(s) considered.
