    I deliver soda for a living and have been doing so for 30 years. I am a very athletic 60 year old. Five weeks ago I came up lame in my left foot and went to the HCP for my company. Without the benefit of and x-ray or even manipulating the foot, I was diagnosed with gout. I argued the diagnosis. I spent the weekend taking colchicine (sp), consuming large amounts of water, and a whole lot of hardcore aerobic excercise. This was to aid the removal of the excess urea. It ended up being a...
