Podiatrist needed, SA

    A new opportunity has opened up for a Podiatrist working for a large national organisation within the Aged Care sector.

    Your World Medical Recruitment is currently working in partnership with Clinicall Pty Ltd who provides a comprehensive range of allied health care services to a wide range of Aged Care Facilities across Australia.

    Clinicall has an innovative Management team which consists of qualified and practicing Allied Health Practitioners, as well as business managers.
    This is a mobile Podiatry role which consists of working autonomously within a multidisciplinary environment.

    Clinical Duties will include;


    Podiatry assessments and care plans to aged care residents.
    Providing Podiatry treatments.
    Working alongside other allied health & medical practitioners.
    Supervising any podiatry students on placement.
    Managing documentation requirements.
    Other Ad hoc duties as required.
    Maintain own Podiatry Stock, documentation and equipment.
    Participation in conference calls as required.
    Maintaining client records.
    Completing written and verbal handovers as appropriate.
    Participating in Continued Professional Development to update and maintain Podiatry knowledge and skills.
    You may have the opportunity to be involved in additional projects throughout your career
    The successful candidate;

    You should be a strong communicator who is flexible and has the ability to multi-task, along with being able to work with a diverse range of individuals. The primary aims of this role are to reduce pain, maintain skin integrity and maximise mobility through podiatric intervention.

    This role will commence from the Monday 26th July 2010 and can be a short term or permanent opportunity. Pay rates vary depending upon experience working out at approximately $30 to $38 per hour.


    Standard requirements;

    • Full driving licence
    • Full registration
    • Appropriate Podiatry qualifications
    • Relevant visa to work in Australia

    Your own transport is desirable but not essential however, you will be required to travel between facilities on a daily basis.
