Regional Victoria- Podiatrist Grade 2 required- Immediate start

    Summary

    You will work as a contract interim grade 2 podiatrist to cover whilst the perm recruitment is undertaken.

    About the role.

    This is a 2-3 month interim fixed term role whilst perm recruitment takes place.You will take a lead role in the provision of comprehensive podiatry services in a MDT working with in-patients and out patients in aged care and the community, including outreach. This role would suit a grade 2 Podiatrist with experience working in regional locations. Part time 3-4 days is preferred however full time is available. Accommodation can be offered in the first instance and a car is available for use at work.

    Duties
    • Aged care facilities (outreach across 3 sites)
    • Clinic work based at 3 sites (various conditions)
    • Chronic disease
    • Medicare Benefits Scheme
    • 2 hours of acute care per month
    • On average you will see 12-13 patients per day
    Skills and Experience
    • Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry)
    • AHPRA
    • Registration with the Podiatry Board
    • Community Health Service experience
    • MDT
    • Aged Care
    • Driving license

    About the company.

    The community health service covers 3 hospital sites. The service is expanding and will open a new community health centre in 2014. The team is professional and energetic and the service is busy. You will not be searching for things to keep you busy working here the health services books are full.
