I wonder if the Ontario Society of Chiropodists realizes that there are more cities in Ontario than Toronto to hold a conference!

Might increase membership if you actually considered practitioners outside of the greater Toronto area!

Unfortunately, in all professions there are skeptics. These tend to be individuals who have never sat on a board of directors and volunteered their time to their profession. These also tend to be individuals who are not members and support their own profession! History proves that the two professional associations have hosted conferences in various locations throughout Ontario(including Ottawa), and will likely do so in the near future. We understand that Toronto is not always the location of choice for everyone, but always draws the largest attendance. We, as a society constantly listen to our members requests and take these requests seriously. The best advice would be to get connected with the profession and join at least one of the associations that support your profession instead of standing on the outside uneducated. With any association, it is true, 20% of the population does 80% of the work.
