    Contrary to popular belief, not all surgeries are successful.
    Surgery is not like working on a car transmission, there are many intangibles that are just not possible to control.
    That being said, it is assumed that the diagnosis was accurate and the procedure was done correctly.
    These assumptions may not be accurate.

    If you are in chronic pain and treatments have been unsuccessful, I would suggest reassessing the diagnosis.
