    Craig,

They say in the UK that protection of function would prevent carers/friends/relatives from cutting people's toe nails.

Australia DO have protection of function, although feel free to correct me on this fact if I am incorrect.

How then have the Aussies managed to achieve protection of function and friends/relatives still allowed to cut toe nails?

    Sorry Jacky,

But Australian Podiatrists only have protection of title.
There are currently only 3 or 4 restricted procedures under Australian Registration Law across all professions, being if I remember correctly

    Manipulation of the C Spine
    Dental Procedure
    Prescription of corrective lenses
    Dispensing of medicines

Yes, New Zealand is a totally different island (well, there are 2 main bits to it)... with a totally different flag... they have red stars on their flag & Australia has white stars. In fact after typing that last sentence I got more curious about the differences, thus here is a rundown on it (from this site)...

I wouldn't have thought one would have to be "very discerning" or "very detail-oriented" to spot the differences. Anyway...

    :D :D :D

    ... & New Zealanders talk funny ;) .
