I am 16 years old and have been in quite a lot of pain due to what my family and I think is the accessory navicular bone. It protrudes a solid inch and a half from my foot and causes me lots of pain to walk. I play fast pitch softball, and have every weekend of the summer. I've had to sit out this past week due to not being able to put weight on my foot. The quickest we could get in to a podiatrist is August 2nd. Any recommendations of how to help pain until then? Also, would surgery be...
