    Why Don't Podiatrists incorporate alternative yet proven methods of treating wounds more aggressively in their practices?

    Depends what you mean by "Alternative" and "proven"

    "Alternative" usually means pseudoscience and any one running around claiming a product is "clinically proven" in the absence of controlled trials is usually a red flag.
