    Firstly,

    Confession.........

It has been a long time since my last post....i have been busy....sorry.

A patient of mine informed me of the following statement. It came from an un-named clinician in the UK........

For patients with peripheral neuropathy a metatarsal dome should always be incorporated into the orthotic design!!

After i picked my mandible off the floor and stopped laughing I ended my clinic and searched every database known to man.

    Guess what??? No evidence...

If anyone has any please let me know!!

Also.... Has anyone heard of anything else more ridiculous?

    Looking forward to your comments

    Simon

I use them both instrinsically and extrinsically to the device in neuropathic feet routinely.

Makes no difference, particularly if placed under the covering material.

Almost mandatory when you are dealing with a preulcerative discreet MT head IPK.
