An interesting paper and highlights considerations for asymmetrical gait. My only question would be their assessment of leg length. Accepting all of the limitations with this measure, they used a fairly unreliable measure and allowed enrollment if the leg length was less than 2cm. I understand why they used this value but, if they had an accurate measure, do we really think that values as high as 1 - 1.5cm could not affect symmetry?
I would have thought they could have at least reported the reliability if their measure (irrespective of how accurate it is) and the results of the leg length measures - if they were all very low differences, then it is likely there were no significant difference, but if there were high values, then this would need to be considered. Furthermore, they could also report that there was no difference between groups.
