    Hi Everyone,

I am a new graduate Podiatrist from Australia and have been doing locum work at a public hospital in rural South Australia for the past 7 weeks. My position sees a broad spectrum of podiatry including everything from diabetic wound care to biomechanics to paeds and routine care. Needless to say it has been a steep learning curve as well as an interesting one.

I will be departing overseas in 2 weeks time for a 6 month trip and will be in the UK (London Area) in mid september. I was wondering if there are any podiatry services/organisations looking to employ Australians who would be willing to allow me to visit their clinic in order to gain an insight into a potential future work environment.

I have no intentions of working in the UK this year (as I am simply not prepared with visas etc) but i'm possibly interested in doing so for a period of time next year. In any case, it would be interesting to see how Podiatry takes place in the UK compared to Australia.

    Regards

    Simon
