Has anyone come across the term 'crow's feet' with regards to foot problems or foot pain?
I have done a brief Google search and it appears that crow's feet is generally used to refer to the skin creases (wrinkles) that radiate from the corner of the eyes - I prefer the term 'smile lines'. Anyway, if anyone knows of crow's feet actually relating to feet rather than faces, I'd like to hear. Happy christmas! Get those smile lines in action.

    Hi DrBob

When telephone and electrical linesman used to spend long periods standing on ladders with their feet balanced on the rung of the ladder, crows feet was a term that was used to describe that foot position. The type of pain was often posterior and plantar heel pain from the constant soft tissue tension. Hope that helps.

    Hi Donald,
That would fit perfectly, thank you. May I ask how you became aware of this use of the term?
    Kind regards,

It was a term that was used by a local orthopod when he referred a patient. It has stuck in my head ever since. With the advent of hydraulic platforms and cherry pickers, the only time I see it now, is with home renovators and house cleaners.

    Regards
