    That was from 2009; time and the science and the sales figures has shown how wrong he was.

    This is one of my pet subjects. I have lost count of the times i have had a patient present me with sweaty feet. More so the young, as they like to wear trainers with no socks.
    So what so we end up with? sweat buckets!. We all know what that leads to. I think this i particularly applies to the cheap variety.

    I can then give them some good old fashioned advice. Wear socks of a good cotton type. I know there are some good trainer socks around. Make sure the trainers are a good comfortable fit, wide enough, long enough so that the big toe will not be cramped in there, or any other toe for that matter. Make sure they are well cushioned, a good amount of heel padding and of course a good instep. Now all this is basic to you and i., but often price and availability comes into play. And of course there should be ventilation in there.

    We then come up against that old dread of ours. Designer footwear, not all that glitters is gold in that area. I know there are some people who because of ill health do wear trainers. It is a subject anybody who deals with feet should have a good grasp of, i could go on, but i will leave it there for now.

    G;)ive you a funny, it is my habit to watch how people walk when i see them. A big shopping mall is ideal for this. One day as i was feet watching a security guard asked me what i was doing. When i told him his reply was. Move on now, we have had people like you before!.
