Sad really that he is grateful to the disloyal pet (how loyal could he be if he was making a meal out of him) and no appreciation* to the hard* working surgeon who actually saved his life

.... well that is how the article has made it read

    *assumptions have been made :D

    Hmmmmmm
well, according to the article he was trying to decide whether to seek medical attention, apparently a difficult decision for him (even with a gangrenous foot) so he decided to tie one on and help his cognitive faculties.

I know whenever I have a "difficult" decision to make I always get sloshed!

As the oft quoted movie classic DUMB AND DUMBER would put it......"you are one pathetic loser"

Whilst on Man's best friend and it feeding habits.

A few years ago I have a patient come to see me regarding a badly infected wound ID 1st and 2nd. He'd had this for approximately 6 months.

When quizzed why he had taken so long to come and see someone he told me that his GP had instructed him to every afternoon take of his boots and socks off and let his dog (not sure of breed) lick between the toes and clean the wound.

This was to be done because "Dogs have sterile tongues".

I still cringe as I know of other places dogs can lick on themselves.

I have shuffled through my 35 semi-formed responses and decided to go with...
"That is one lucky guy ! Imagine if he'd had a UTI !" Probably still woulda' wanted to feed the stump to his dog.
