    Hello all,

I’ve recently updated my 2008 fee schedule and I would appreciate some input.

In the past, when I have performed partial nail avulsions and chemical matrixectomies, I have always charged for the procedure only. I now charge pts a consultation fee + the cost of the procedure. Does anyone object or think this is being irrational?

In addition, I charge separately for casts and biomechanical assessments i.e. if a pt has a cast and a BMX assessment performed in one consultation the pt is charged a cast fee and a biomechanical assessment fee. Does anyone else charge in a similar fashion?

    Anybodies thoughts please…

    Dan
