    Hi all,

I was looking at my saved PDFs the other day and its becoming a bit of a mess.

What filing system are others using ?

Save by subject, save by author etc.

all and any tips would be great.

    Mike,

I have all my PDFs saved in a file called 'Journal Articles' and within that I save them in a way that I will find them quickest when looking for them or when asked for them. For some papers they are saved as author name and year (e.g all of Kevins articles) and for others (more obscure ones) I call them something that will make them easy to locate. When I'm back at my laptop tonight I will send you a print screen of it to better explain what I mean.

    Mike,

Print Screen attached as an example - hope it helps. Certainly works for me and allows me to locate any article pretty easily.
