Encompass Podiatry - Boyne Island

Encompass Podiatry is seeking a full time Podiatrist for its clinic in beautiful Boyne Island. Part time and locum applicants considered. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements and create a patient load to meet your goals as a clinician.

The summary:
-Full time preferred, but part time considered. Start date is flexible but an active case load is in place to begin immediately.
-Private clinic in beautiful Boyne Island. It is a twin towns locality with Tannum Sands and sits at the end of the Great Barrier Reef. 25min drive to Gladstone and 6.5hrs to Brisbane. -Full reception support and a paid 30min paperwork break every day.
-Generous consultation times.
-Flexible working arrangements available (and encouraged).
-Generous renumeration by negotiation. Additional CPD allowances of up to $20,000 by application. Utilising support from Health Workforce QLD, you have up to $10 000 CPD allowance. This covers usual CPD costs, along with travel and accommodation costs. Once you have exhausted this allocation, we will provide an additional $1000 if required. A further additional $10 000 available by application for ongoing post graduate study also through Health Workforce QLD. Relocation assistance is also available via this network by application.
-Full scope of Podiatry services and an interesting and varied caseload with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in all areas.
-Close referral ties to our local Physios and GPs.
-New/early graduate mentor program with our 3 experienced Podiatrists and including on-site CPD visits with local Physio’s, paeds Physio, OT and EP to ensure that your allied health network is developed and you have an understanding of the interventions available for your patients.
-Modern clinic supported by in-store footwear sales and 3D orthotic scanning.

The details:
Our locally owned and operated clinic opened at the beginning of 2018 and currently employs three Podiatrists. The successful candidate will have access to and mentoring by all staff, along with regular in-house CPD.

The successful candidate must have the ability to work within a team environment but also autonomously. Graduates are welcome to apply and would be gradually transitioned into their case load with ongoing mentoring and support.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday. We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality, patient focused treatment and we support our Podiatrists to continue to develop their skills as clinicians.

We offer a full scope of Podiatry services including custom supra malleolar devices, nail surgery, DVA/NDIS/GPMP, doppler ABI/TBI, trigger point therapy and needling, video gait assessment and 3D scanning for orthotic prescription. As a result of our location (and a high proportion of young families in the area) and a large sporting community, we see a larger volume of paediatric patients.
Applicants must hold industry qualifications and insurances, have a valid driver’s license and be registered with AHPRA.
