Hinkler Podiatry is seeking an enthusiastic podiatrist for a full-time position in 2013. The successful applicant will join our team of 4 podiatrists and support/office staff in a well-equipped, newly refurbished, computerised clinic. Winner of the Bundaberg Business Excellence Awards – Health Services 2011, the clinic is located in a major regional centre, with affordable housing and no traffic jams. The clinic covers all aspects of podiatry including biomechanics, sports podiatry, diabetic foot care, nail surgery, routine foot care etc, with a large referral base from local GP’s, physios and orthopaedic surgeons. Applicant should have knowledge in all fields of podiatry as the practice encompasses all areas of podiatric care including general foot care, physical therapies (including Laser, ultrasound, TENS, Cyrocuff and paraffin wax treatments etc.), sports medicine, video gait analysis (Silicon Coach and Dartfish software), pressure plate analysis (TOG Gait-Scan, Novel Pedar X), 3D Foot scanner (Langer), paediatrics, nail surgery, domiciliary visits and diabetic patients (Doppler and PPG reports, Flir Thermal Imager). Each room is equipped with its own computer and practice management software. A high emphasis is placed on continuing education and podiatry promotion and a well-equipped workshop is available for insole and orthotic construction.

This opportunity is for both new graduates and experienced podiatrists. A generous remuneration package includes, a wage based on experience, time allocated to continuing education, uniform allowance plus more.
