Has anyone used the LED Headband Magnifier as sold by justcarepodiatry? It's a headband with a light on top and magnifier lenses depending from the band in front of you.

I'm in search of the ideal solution for lighting/magnifying in domiciliary practice- I was using the Hadewe portable magnifier light, but the circular flourescent tubew has "gone" and I find it impossible to source a replacement for it, rendering the whole thing useless. (PLenty of circular tubes are available, but not in that small size).

I use a good quality Petzl head light and ordinary magnified glasses. Petzl is the leader in headlights for rescue workers and outdoor pursuits such as potholing. i use rechargable batteries and my new one has LED bulbs so easy on batteries. I have no commercial interest in promoting Petzl except I love it. In fact this is my second - first one more bulky but used it for 6 to 7 years. The other thing is, as you probably notice, when you put a medical supplies label on something it trebles the price! Hope this helps.
