    Not quite sure how you could confirm actual events of fungal cross infection.

    Hi TS,

    I've worked on one Nail Parlour case in the UK in the last three years. The question of proof or non-proof of damage or infection depends on the balance of probabilities.

    In other words, how probable is it that the infection was caused by the nail parlour visit?
    The expert will be asked to give their opinion, sometimes, not always, they will be asked to express the probability by %.
    The case I worked on was IGTN rather than fungal infection, but the legal process is just the same.

    I do feel that more of these cases will surface as time goes on.
