    Hi,
I've been approached by a local charity to take part in a health promotion day, focussing on selfcare and prevention.
It's great to be invited and I've gladly accepted, however, it is rather short notice as the original pod back out at the last minute.
So, wondered if anyone has done these kind of sessions/promotions and some tips and advice to impart
What is the best way to engage the people attending and getting the message across, are leaflets/samples vital, demonstrations etc
The demographics of the group are over 50s that are partially excluded from mainstream services.
    Any tips?

    Hi Pod at home.
Contact the Health promotion or public health team in your PCT. They are the experts in these types of events, and will have the evidence on what works.

What do you mean by partially excluded from mainstream services?

    How about falls prevention ?
