    Hello

My patient lives in Glasgow and is having difficulty finding footwear to accomodate bi-lateral HAV which obviously makes her forefoot very broad. Any type of constrictive footwear causes her discomfort so she tends to live in flip flops.
I am aware of the usual catalogues and suppliers, although high street shopping is usually not productive. Can anyone recommend anywhere through their patient experience that will help this lady.
    Thank you for your help.

l am sure there are local Pedorthists that can relast a shoe for your client, not a difficult job, when the job is done you client will have a nice tight heel that the shoe had before and a broader forepart to accommodate the HAV, try Google for some pics of shoe modifications to shoe them what you want done.

l dont know what brands you have i the UK, but there is product out there that feature Lycra materials in the forepart that can help the milder cases.
