    I've recently been diagnosed with Haglund's deformity, and I'm looking for advice on how to minimize the effects this has on my daily activities. I understand that it's a condition CAUSED by Haglund's that's causing the pain, but it doesn't seem to go away. The podiatrist had me in a boot for a week and then fit me with custom orthotics, which I'm supposed to wear in an athletic-type shoe (they're in a pair of New Balance right now).
