    Hi there,
I am a chiropractor and know a lot less about feet than I do the spine. Recently a patient presented with the x-rays attached suffering from foot pain, having seen a practitioner who performs manipulation of the feet. It is unclear if the practitioner is a chiropractor or podiatrist. I am seeking some advice as to what diagnoses may be applicable to these films in the context of manipulation and what results could be expected from that manipulation.
    Thank you all in advance.
    Chris.

The films are suggesting a displacement (subluxation) of the talus as demonstrated by the broken cyma lines on the lateral views (BF).

The DP view on the right foot also suggests a laterally displaced talus usually associated with compromised shock absorption capabilities due to 'locking' of the MTJ. Related soft tissue stresses are often seen with this subluxation pattern (plantar fascia, interosseous structures of the forefoot).

    Patient's presentations would help...

    Ted
