A new patient reports that she has historically had severe anaphylaxis to antibiotics requiring hospitalisation (not connected with foot care). She also reports that she is unable to take virtually all antibiotics for the same reason. In the context of routine foot care work such a corn/callus reduction/enucleation, I would be interested in what action/advice other practitioners would give, if any, prior to undertaking such work with the patient?
