Results from a recent survey with almost 200 members of the Psoriasis Association using Zeroderm® emollient ointment are highly positive.
93% of respondents liked the feel of Zeroderm ointment on their skin, 83% said it was as good as or better than their current emollient and 75% wanted to continue using Zeroderm ointment.
For many people psoriasis is a long-term condition and 69% of respondents have had psoriasis for more than twenty years.
One respondent commented: ‘I have already purchased more Zeroderm since receiving the sample. It really helped me feel more comfortable during a recent psoriasis flare-up. The ointment stayed on my skin to keep it moisturised and protected for much longer than anything else I have tried.’
In addition 56% of those surveyed reported an improvement in their psoriasis symptoms. Reported skin improvements included a decrease in scaling, a reduction in itching and redness and a reduced need to use other treatments. Most respondents would continue to use Zeroderm ointment if their healthcare professional would prescribe it.
SLS-free Zeroderm ointment provides 3-in-1 emollient therapy and can be used as a skin cleanser, a bath additive and as a leave-on moisturiser. Free from additives, preservatives, colours and fragrance, Zeroderm ointment can be used to moisturise and soften dry skin in eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions.
Suitable for both adults and children, Zeroderm ointment is available in 500g and 125g tubs. It is listed on the Drug Tariff and Nurse Prescriber’s Formulary and is also available on NHS contract.
A 50g tub is available for patient evaluation and to receive your sample of Zeroderm ointment, simply email:
