    Hi all

Browsing the net came across the Orthomed scanner sysytem. Sounds impressive, and if all is to be believed it is the 'perfect' answer. No I dont believe there is such a thing, what we are trying to achieve with our feet is not that simple.

Is there anyone out there who has experience with this sytem, good or bad. Perhaps you have tried it and found its the best thing since sliced bread, or perhaps found out it does not live up to its claims.

    Thanks for your attention.

    Regards

    Phil

Its just anther scanner. Nothing special. There are plenty of others out there that all claim to be the best. No doubt those that own it and use it will claim its the "greatest thing since sliced bread"; have you not noticed the manufaturers and users of the other systems all claim the same thing.
The biomechanical report data it generates does not appear to be particularly useful in decision making.

From the looks of it, it should be able to perform a proper gait analysis in addition to foot and ankle scanning. On the flip side, it's likely over $20K., The proximal side of the unit appears very similar to the eyeware scanner.
