I broke a vertebra 29th DEc and was in hospital for 4 weeks confined to bed, when I came home i was able to get out of bed just to go to the loo etc. My ankle began to swell and has got gradually more painful over the last 7 weeks and i can now hardly walk on it. have been for xray and waiting on that. i believ my problems are caused by prolonged bed rest. what is the best solution? as a keen rambler i am desperate to get going again!
