I have noted in the media of late a lot of mention of the fact that UWA and others are moving to a limited range (6 in total) of UG degrees (ie science, health, education, etc) - and then expecting to deliver professional degrees as postgraduate activities.

I this the beginning of the end of Bachelor degrees in podiatry in AUS?

    Good question LL

I am no loner a player but would think the situation has much merit from an economical point of view. It re-establishes the academic from the vocational and universities feel more comfortasble about that. It also assures full fee paying students which is mighty attractive.

Others may have more to say.
