Interesting research done on Postural Control Insoles (2012). Demonstrated a decrease in pressure reading under the MLA without an arch support incorporated into this insole.

Since gravity drive pronation almost always demonstrates an increase in PP underneath the MLA, this study offers support to the clinical (gait) observation that these insoles decrease gravity drive pronation (specifically with the abnormal Primus Metatarsus Supinatus foot structure).
