    How about:

'An approach to developing a universal tool to show the effects of foot surgery to highlight successful surgeries'

A score can be given using parameters such as differences in pain levels, gait, level of function, etc.

I really enjoyed doing "Should Capsular Interpositional Arthroplasy replace arthrodesis as the new gold standard treatment for hallux rigidus". I found the information I learned from this topic really helps me when discussing treatment options for patients with painful hallux limitus/rigidus.

My Dad was a country GP, and country GP's are never just GP's. He did hip replacements etc. When I was a Pod student in the early 70's, I asked him what the advances in surgery would be. His answer? "Not doing surgery"; yes, that is where I would direct my research today into surgery - mechanisms and methods of avoiding surgery. Why triple bipass, when you can stent?
