How does Scandonest 3% Plain (mepivacaine hydrochloride) degrade once past its expiry date?Does it lose its efficacy or become harmful to use in some way, bearing in mind it is in sealed glass vials?
From past research it seems that many drug expiry dates are arbitrary and used for licensing purposes only, however, I don’t want to assume this.
Basically, I have a box of Scandonest which has an expiry of 03/2022 and I want to know if there is any reason it can’t be used.
