after much r&d we have found a way of sharpening blacks files successfully.blacks files actually end up as sharp if not sharper than when they were new.all files are tested before they are returned.the other good news is that the price for sharpening is very very affordable.blacks files can be sharpened 3-4 times before they are finished.most people are putting them in with their clippers when they send them in for sharpening and repair.most instruments are repairable or resharpenable so if you have any queries please contact us.

Thankyou but no thanks, I wreak enough damage on my poor old ladies without doing so with a 'sharpened' Blacks file. I'm at a loss why would you want your blacks files SHARPENED????? The smaller the head the more practical but sharp naaaaahhhh

after buffing it is only the tiny teeth on the blacks files that is sharpened.this makes the file cut the nail better with less pressure on the nail of the patient.:butcher::butcher:sometimes we do get requests to reshape the head of a blacks file but this is mainly done when they have been dropped and have sharp burrs on he edges.
