    Hello,
Could I enlist a bit of help from you folk please. Im 3 years into Podiatry and involved in a new hospital and am charged with setting up the sport/MSK/BMX side of podiatry.

Could I please get a few suggestions of books and Journal Subscriptions I should get for our podiatry clinic.

I know there are lots of different books by various authors and theories seem to be coming up every month, but I would like to get a few that incorporate most things. I am currently trying to find a suppler for the Kevin Kirby Intracast books and would also be keen get get one by Beno Nigg but not sure what ones of his would be best!

I see that a lot of you seem to be up with the play as soon as a good new study comes up and feel the need to be apart of this :)

The topics Im interested in getting will be related to Sport (mostly running), BMX and also musculo-skeletal, Tissue Stress etc.

Any help would be hugely appreciated and since they have given us the money in the budget I may as well use it all!

    Cheers
    Nick M

Dr Kevin Kirby's news letters in book form are well worth the money. I bought all three earlier this year. Everything is explained simply and concisely. Also easy to read in small gaps between patients if you get them. Dr Nigg's book is excellent but may make your brain hurt. Tom

I echo all previous comments re: Kevin's and Benno's books.

Also this reading list may be of interest use: http://sportspodiatryinfo.co.uk/readinglist.aspx

Journals worth subscribing to in my opinion:

    1. JAPMA
    2. Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise
    3. JOSPT
    4. American Journal of Sports Medicine
