    Hi Mark,

What sort of thing are you after? In my department we deal with a few footwear companies that offer footwear that will fit feet that are hard to accommodate in high street shoes but have not yet reached the point of bespoke from the Orthotist (or refuse to!). All of these will accommodate orthoses but not all will accommodate large deformity or gross oedema. We have just started dealing with DB shoes which are very light and roomy but much like Hotters / Ecco to look at.

Maybe this will help, if you can be more specific as to what you want to accommodate I may be able to help you more.

    Mark,

Contact Paul Mountford, who is a UK-based Pedorthist as well as Podiatrist.

He has a comprehensive list of footwear/footwear companies.

I've PM'd you his email address.
    Cheers,

Thanks for that. Looking for a deep toebox lightweight shoe to fit ladies UK size 9. I recall a US firm who produced a lightweight white moccasin similar to a nurses shoe but can't locate them now. Hotter and Softwalker are not deep or large enough - and she doesn't like cosyfeet - so a bit restricted.

Will contact Paul to see what he can offer but al suggestions appreciated.

    Hi Mark,

I can send you information regarding which Hotter shoes fit deepest and widest if that would help your patient. Taking out the insole will also increase the depth within the shoes.
