Do podiatrist keep photos of patients feet on their phones, or are they kept at the clinic with patients history?

They probably should not be kept on phones.
Different rules or guidelines in different countries.
Check with your professional body for guidance.

A good electronic medical record will have an app linked to the phone camera, allowing direct upload of an image into the patient record. It is not ideal to keep patient photos on a phone, as they are part of the patient record, and should be stored with the record.
Leaving them on a phone also has consent and confidentiallity issues, that could cause you problems if you lost your phone etc.
