Hi all

I'm aware of the link between tendinosis and ciprofloxacin.

Does anyone know of any other antibiotics that can contribute to this, specifically lymecycline?

I think ciprofloxacin is one of the Fluoroquinolone class and is certainly worth being aware of.

A current patient has been on pulsed lymecycline (a tetracyline group AB) for 12 plus years for Rosacea.

It looks like tetracylines certainly have some effects on MMPs and I'm wondering if such a long period on this is contributing to her achilles tendinosis.

I have recently seen two partially ruptured achilles attributed to Levaquin.
