To answer several inquiries, I am posting pictures with further information about the CryopaC Plus/Advance.

I have the CryoPac Plus / Advance (UK) together with two probes (1 heel probe, 1 neuroma probe). Evolved from the earlier Cryostar , it is the latest model in the range, and benefits from a number of upgrades. Boasting both greater reliability (freeze temperature) and efficiency, (consuming 50% less gas).

Consistently good results are possible with the nerve locater, and the unit is contained in a cart, on caster wheels. The cart is extra, produced at my request. It renders the unit aesthetically pleasing and allows for improved functionality. It is easy to wheel in & out of a treatment room, and the single N02 cylinder slots neatly into the back of the cart.

Cryosurgery is used in medicine and surgery spanning the last two decades. There are indications in a variety of disciplines, e.g. oncology, dermatology, cardiology and pain clinics.

Podiatry cryosurgery evolved in 2000 (circa). In my opinion, the true value of the application of this technology, applied to a range of podiatric pathologies, is not yet fully realized. Cryosurgery has a place, as a treatment option, in the Podiatrist's tool bag.

Doctor Dieter, Hi my name is Kerri I am from Florida/USA and have a customer who has this system and he needs a repair part. Nose cone on the probe with yellow sheath to distal end. Do you know who we could contact for parts? Do you still use this system? Does your system have a hours/min. of operation counter? Thank you for taking the time to read this. Kerri

The short answer is no.

I still have the system, boxed and in storage, but I do not use it anymore. To the best of my knowledge US insurance does not provide a good CPT code and does not cover the treatment - with other treatment alternatives, there's little incentive to use it.
