    Dear Colleagues,

Does anyone out there have any experience good and bad regarding the products this company www.whatsmyfoottype.com offers?

I would be most grateful to hear from you if you have.

    Regards,

Functional Foot typing- why would you bother everyone is different, each individual has different biomechanics.

    Thats my option.

    Dennis come on down.

It just another one of those pigeon holing, classifing, foot typing approaches that seems to appeal to those who know less about foot function.

Yes, those were my exact thoughts also.

    Biomechanics painting by numbers.

If you know your stuff, why do you need this?

quick look - appears purely positional and we know thats not the whole picture. Agree with above posters' comments

Don't have much to add but agreement with previous comments really - a cook book approach which doesn't seem to consider the vast variability in human structure (or function). Nothing new under the sun. If the foot orthoses consensus is the way forward (which I personally believe it is) then this is the polar opposite

  8. A good question which infers it's own answer.

If biomechanics was food, these systems would be pot noodle. Quick, easy, need no expertise to prepare, but only just this side of inedible and nobody would compare it to a meal prepared from fresh... Except the people selling them.

But if you're the sort who can burn pasta they might just be a good option for you.
