    Anyone like to tell me what these non painful lumps on 1st and 4th are please? Would they be described as a lipoma, they are softish, not fluctuant, and stable in position

    Hi Dave

    Could be one of a number of different pathologies including xanthoma but lipoma would be my best guess also. Really, it's not possible to diagnose without a biopsy but can you give some Hx anyway?

    As always, it will be interesting to know what the diagnosis is, so can you post again when this is arrived at.

    Hi Bill and Dave,

    My guess would also be lipoma but as Bill knows to his cost, I tend to refer my lumps and bumps on to a Pod Surgeon for accurate identification.
