Why are there no football (soccer) boots designed specifically for women ?

I may have missed other points in that audio, but other than making a narrower boot and comfort, what other additions would be made for a woman’s boot? I’ve cut up a couple hundred boots, from high school to professional players, and in general, there aren’t that many things comprising a boot that could be altered for a women’s specific boot other than the last. Interested in ideas.

Until now adidas have been the only major manufacturer to link boots specifically to the female foot. It remains unclear what that actually means in biomechanical terms, if anything at all. In such a competitive industry there is not that much information shared, so not likely to find out. According to some sources the pattern and frequency of injuries reported in women’s soccer is significantly different to men. How much footwear has to do with it remains unclear, but certainly an interesting area worthy of further research?
