    It would be interesting to see the x-rays for this condition to see whether it was just the phalanges that were duplicated or whether there were extra metatarsals/carpals as well.
    Maybe the pod surgeons among us can tell us how the surgeons know which are the "real" digits and which are the "extra" ones that should be removed?

    I understand that Anne Boleyn had an extra digit on one hand. (Some sources say it was an extra thumb, others an extra finger and others an extra distal phalanx on the 5th finger. It didn't do her much good as she was beheaded for treason.

    I'm glad to read that our little Indian chappie has had successful surgery to remove the extra digits.

    I have only ever seen one patient with extra digits and that was an extra small toe on one foot.

    Id love to be his pod if they had kept the toes, you could charge by the toe for nail cuts. Also Im I the only 1000000th viewer to look at that site?
