    I am looking for research, articles that talk about measuring pressure on plantar ulcers and how much walking, standing halts/slows wound healing? eg 1hour, 1/2 day.
    Is there anything related to this out there.

    Google Dr Norman Murphy(USA based), he has done quite a bit with plantar pressure mapping of the foot

    What country are you based in MarHar?
    l ask as Dr Murphy will be here in Australia in mid September for a workshop at the APMGFA Symposium, might be worth coming if your local?

    I am in Sydney. The symposium sounds good.
    I assume to get results of the wound going backward one would have to do biopsies to measure changes in the wound, rather than looking at a macro level. I tell the patient to walk even with a camwalker as little as possible - what is little ?1 hour, 1/2 day etc and what evidence have I to support that.
