Fifth Metatarsal Fracture 23 wks later

I broke my 5th metatarsal mid shaft - dancer's fracture - (while dancing) almost 5 months ago. On the second x-ray, about 6 weeks ago - the fracture still showed on the x-ray, although it was certainly more aligned than the first x-ray. At that time, I was told I needed another 4 weeks to heal. For a total of 4 months of healing. I am still limping around and suffering pain on the side of my foot at 23 wks in - on the bottom of my foot and sometimes at the toe. Mostly when walking, but...
