    Google rocks!!! :cool:

    First, they recently released Google Maps:
    http://maps.google.com/

    You can use it to look at satelite photos of your neighbourhood/street/house (if you in the USA).

    Australia's version is here;
    http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=-27.685547,135.483398&spn=39.594727,57.744141&t=k&hl=en

    Now they have released Google Moon:
    http://moon.google.com/

    You can see where the Apollo missions landed --- zoom right in for a close up of the landing sites ..... the truth is revealed :rolleyes:

    It's SO addictive, isn't it. I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, and all my kids are now addicted. I have the horrible feeling that they might prefer this kind of educationally valid software to playing pointless games. Hmmm, better give them some Coke and Twisties, that'll fix them.

  7. For all you google earth addicts....

    Some 800km south of Lima in Peru - 400km south of Nasca and its incredible geoglyphs - on a west facing mountainside just north of Arequipa, there is a shadowy face which becomes visible at a height of 10.86 miles. Many of you will instantly recognise the handsome rugged features of Cameron Kippen staring back at you and will wonder...is it a sign? I think we should be told!

    Some have noticed the new link to Member Maps in the bottom navigation bar. Its not exactly Google Earth, but on the map you can submit your location and then later add that link to your signature here.

    This is from the FAQ on the map:
