How Many People Can Be a Person's Parents?

    Considering the medical treatment of children and getting parental consent for treatment, it seems that now, in some parts of the world, the number of people that health professionals should consider to be parents could be greater than two........ http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070103/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_parents

    Maybe I'm a little old-fashioned, but I think I liked it better when only one man and one woman could be considered to be a child's parents.

    if a step-father or step-mother can have legal recognition why can't the partner, same relationship between child and adult!, yours honestly, mark conley

    There is a case where the offspring from a sperm donor contested his will and won half his estate much to the shock of his widow. The person had never met her natural father.
