    The role of the grade 3 Podiatrist will be to provide clinical leadership and support to the podiatry team while playing a key role in further developing and expanding the service. Our integrated service model will continually expose you to other health professionals. It means you will provide your podiatric expertise as part of a holistic solution for patients.

    This role sits across our Integrated Primary Health Service (IPHS) – Central and West teams. As a Podiatrist within IPHS, you will be supported by our Allied Health Team Leader and you will report to the Manager of IPHS - Central. Your role will include providing services in 1:1 consults, working in multidisciplinary clinics and providing regular high quality supervision and professional support to the Podiatry team. The main clinical caseload will be targeted at the high-risk clients and working in our High Risk Foot Clinic (HRFC) which is the key feature of our podiatry service. The HRFC is a multidisciplinary clinic that involves Podiatry, Diabetes educators, Dietitians and Care Coordination.

    To be successful, you will require;
    • Tertiary qualification in Podiatry
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a podiatrist, preferably in a community setting
    • A current Working with Children Check
