    Dear fishpod,

Unless you are casting your net without punctuation to provoke interaction but know full well how to utilise it, I would request if you wish to be taken seriously please utilise punctuation.

On this occasion I made an exception. I & others will accept if you have difficulties with the English language or have problems with the written word. However, you mentioned earlier that you find punctuation a bore then do not be surprised if people decline to enter a sensible discussion.

    Intentional rudeness is not acceptable.

    Regards,

    Mandy.

PS. My grammar may be wrong on many occasions & my wording may be less than perfect. That being said I never intentionally type with a sole purpose to provoke irritation.

Ive already mentioned fishpods grammer in previous threads, his answer was " i think you are eluding to my use of the word proper, i used it in the context of the right way thats not to say the only way to achieve a goal, however the right /proper way is usually the best way IMHI so i hope this clarifies my 3rd language s--- comments"

From my personal experience, the NHS is ageist - I graduated as a mature student of 38 some years ago from a red brick UK university with a first class honours in Podiatry, and despite interviews was told I was too old and they preferred younger candidates. Each time I lost out to a younger candidate despite excellent feedback from interview.
THE NHS IS AGEIST. The other colleagues (mature ones) also had the same problem. So for us Private Practice was the only choice... which incidentally I have enjoyed very much and have a successful working life.

It would prove useful to newly qualified podiatrists to be able to consolidate skills learned in university with a mentorship program in the NHS. The course was funded by the health service and it should expect some return for its investment. However the health service is struggling financially and therefore jobs for all is probably not feasable for most under funded foot health departments.
